Tuesday 9th November 2010 God proves Himself worthy all the time. He doesn’t have to but He does it anyway. You see, sometimes we don’t realise how blessed we are in life. God is there waiting for us with open arms and in our minds were thinking “What is going on?” “Is God not on our side?” “Is God not hearing our prayers?” The reality is that He has heard us but have we heard Him?! Are we actually listening out for Him or the answer we want to hear? Worrying, lack of faith or sometimes even being scared of what God may say to us can block us from listening or hearing what He has in store for us.  People always tell me that the biggest battle we have in our lives is ourselves. We either want so many different things or sometimes we don’t even know what we want. The truth is we are not wise. We actually don’t know the answer to most of our questions. That’s why there’s Jesus. We ought to have a daily relationship with Him and a relationship is a two way thing. We can talk to God in prayer but we also have to get to know Him. Through His word (The Bible) In doing this we die daily; attempting to rid our unworthy selves and accpeting Christ to rule over our lives. So the decisions we make aren’t based on the little bit of knowledge we may have but with the help of the all knowing, wise and loving Father above. The blessings that God grants us are infinite. He’s the one person that knows us inside out and when we need Him He’s always there. Let’s act upon this undeserved Grace, die daily and allow Him to direct our lives enabling us to have this Solid Rock in which we stand on as All Other Ground is Sinking Sand!   Follow Him. Trust Him. Listen. All things Are possible.
