Tuesday 8th February 2011 It is scary how sinful we are as humans. We want the perfect life with money that is never said to be enough, no troubles and no trials, however can we really handle this? Can we handle who and what are we? We are not perfect! Nor will we ever be. But we are a peculiar people! We are royalty! With the strength of our Father God that is the only time we succeed. We need to acknowledge our state and not envy the things that other people may have. The man who succeeds is not the man with a path laid out with gold with everything set for him, ready to take what’s handed to him, rather it is the man who works the hardest, who never gives up, who although he may fall jumps back on his feet grabbing every opportunity, trying his best not to make the same mistake twice, thus learning from his experiences and enquiring of God the direction in which to go. Furthermore, excellence is not defined as the person with the most qualifications or the person with the most money in the bank but it is the quality of that person who has come a long way, the one who has moved forward moulding their character each and every day, not boasting about what they have or what they can do but being sure of themselves, knowing their capabilities and acknowledging that it is only by the Grace of God that they are whom they are today, having that attitude of humility and being caring. Grace was bestowed on us as a result of endless love. Love. There’s no such thing as a small miracle or a small act of kindness. You may never know how much it means to smile or even say hello to an individual. Value life and be grateful, share whatever little or great you have. I am not perfect nor are you but never forget you are a child of the king!
